Marissa's passion for jewelry design began during a semester abroad in 2001. Upon returning home, Marissa Bethoney started bringing her ideas to life - and, so Marissa B. jewelry was born. After class and between thesis writing, Marissa designed her first line of jewelry and attended a trade show in New York. From that point, the line expanded into various collections of up-scaled earrings, bracelets and necklaces that reflect Marissa's modern artistic style. 

From her Boston-based studio, Marissa works with a delicious array of colorful semiprecious gems and metals. "Many hands make beautiful work," Marissa says of her team of dedicated and talented artisans she works with. In Marissa's words,

        "Design is my passion and fashion should be fun! I like to think I'm also sending off some fun when I see orders ship... I want women to feel beautiful and feminine and just gorgeous when they wear Marissa B. Sometimes our jewelry makes a bold statement, other times it's subtle. What ever look is achieved it has to put a smile on a woman's face!"

Marissa B. jewelry sells in independent boutiques and department stores worldwide and has sold to clients such as Henri Bendel, Neiman Marcus and W Hotel Boutiques, to name a few.
