CUSTOMER CARE

We want you to be thrilled with your new jewelry. If there is any problem whatsoever, please contact us as info@marissab.com so that we can make it right and make sure you are happy with your purchase.


RETURN/REPAIR POLICIES 

All purchases made through Marissab.com are final sales. Items received as gifts are also a final sale.

We will only repair items purchased through marissab.com. Items purchased through other retailers must be returned for repair to the store where it was purchased.

To send in an item for repair please contact us at info@marissab.com and request a Repair Work Order number. Be sure to include your order number, name, contact information and nature of damage. We will contact you with a Repair Work Order number within 2 - 5 business days. We will not accept packages without a Repair Work Order number.

If your item is less than 1 year old, please include a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase. For items more than 1 year old, we are happy to repair the item based on the following fees:

Less than 1 year: Free, time frame for repair is 3 - 4 weeks, excluding holidays. Ships back to you free of charge.

Over 1 year: $27.90, time frame for repair is 3 - 4 weeks, excluding holidays. Subject to return shipping charge.

Due to the nature of our jewelry, we may not be able to obtain certain stones or components needed to repair older designs.  

 

SHIPPING POLICY  

Marissab.com ships orders via USPS Priority or UPS Ground service within the 50 US states and US International Priority for worldwide deliveries. The following charges apply to packages shipped within the United States. 

USPS Priority (2-3 day delivery): $6.95 flat rate (up to 5 lbs.) $12.95 flat rate (over 5 lbs.)

UPS Ground (1-10 day delivery): $10.95 flat rate (up to 5 lbs.) $14.95 flat rate (over 5 lbs.)

International orders ship for a flat rate of $15.95. Please note that the delivery time is approximate and refers only to time in transit and does not include the time necessary to prepare your order. 

Marissab.com is not responsible for additional delivery charges associated with incorrect or undeliverable addresses. Please note that UPS will not deliver to P.O. boxes. 

 

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP? 

While most orders are ready for shipment within 2 - 5 days of ordering, some require more time. Since Marissa B. jewelry is handmade, sometimes additional time is required to complete your order. In the event that your order is delayed beyond our typical processing time, you will be notified via email.

HOLIDAY 2011 NOTE: To ensure delivery by Friday the 23rd orders must be placed no later than December 15th. Of course, you can always take your chances and order after the 15th, but we're not making any promises that you'll have the delight in watching your lucky recipient sing "Joy to the World" when she opens her gift. If you're sending gifts all over the place and spreading the Marissa B. love, please make each transaction individually. That way there won't be any confusion as to who gets what when we pack up your orders. 

 

PRIVACY POLICY 

We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. Any information we collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to facilitate us in fulfillment operations.


We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

Do we use "cookies" {and can I eat them}?

We do use cookies and, no you cannot eat them! Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart.

Marissab.com may use non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address and the pages that you visit on our site, to help diagnose problems with our site and servers, to administer our site, and to improve site-related services and features.

Your IP address and other non-personally identifiable information may be used to gather broad demographic information and to recognize customer traffic patterns and site usage trends. This information aids us in improving the site navigation, design and features.

To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by contacting us at mb@marissab.com and type “REMOVE” as the subject of the email. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Yet, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these linked sites (including if a specific link does not work).

Changes to our policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. This policy was last modified on March 7, 2010.
